METALIX began its manufacturing process in SA in 1949, producing decorated tinware products.

As consumer demands changed, so did the product range, although some products such as trays and candle holders, have been retained due to popular demand.

The early 1980's saw a change of focus for Metalix, with the launch of a domestic bakeware range of products. This business has shown substantial growth and Metalix is now a major supplier of bakeware and other kitchen & household products to the South African market.

Metalix, through close links with its associate company, is able to keep pace with international technology and trends. This ultimately benefits the local market as the company distributes an extensive range of high quality bakeware products in a variety of shapes, finishes and package designs.

In line with the company's commitment to meeting the needs of the consumer, a full range of braais and accessories has recently been launched.

We are constantly investigating ways to increase our value as a supplier and with our innovative and flexible approach, we believe we will remain a major player in the housewares and outdoor sectors of the market.
